Details about DNS record checking service
DNS (Domain Name System) is a global domain name system that is the basis for resolving domains to IP addresses. It is based on a system of resource records. This tool allows you to obtain the necessary DNS records for a domain. Unlike WHOIS information, DNS record data reveals the technical aspects of a domain in more detail.
Depending on your specific purpose, you can retrieve a specific DNS record for a domain or all available records and select the one you need.

This service works with the following types of records:
  • A- Indicates the IPv4 address to which the domain is configured.
  • AAAA- Indicates the IPv6 address that the domain is configured for.
  • CNAME- (Canonical Name Record)canonical name record, used to create aliases of A and AAAA records.
  • NS - Indicates the address of the host that is directly responsible for the domain zone, often the name of the hosting provider's DNS server or domain registrar.
  • MX - (Mail Exchange) record that specifies the e-mail exchange server for the domain.
  • PTR - A record that returns the host name associated with the given IP.
  • TXT is a text record used to store additional information about the domain.
  • SOA - Indicates the name of the server that stores the information on this record and confirms the authority of this data.
  • SRV is a service record that indicates the presence of specific services and protocols on the server.
  • HINFO - information about the OS and hardware of the server.
  • CAA - defines allowed certificate authorities for issuing SSL/TLS certificates.
  • NAPTR - used for additional data processing when working with SIP protocols.
  • ALL - query for all known DNS records for a specific domain.
